Forta is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans for clients diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Department: Clinical / ABA
Position Type: Part Time (15-30 hours per week)
Schedule: This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling options available. The RBT will work approximately 15 – 30 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours based on client needs and availability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement behavior intervention plans as outlined by the BCBA to address the unique needs of each client.
- Provide one-on-one direct therapy sessions with clients in home
- Collect accurate data on client progress and behavior using specified data collection methods.
- Assist in the development of skill acquisition programs to target communication, social, academic, and daily living skills.
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
WHAT YOU BRING (REQUIREMENTS):
- Must hold a valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary clearances as required by state regulations.
