Counsel’s mission is to provide patients unlimited access to personalized, high-quality medical advice from real clinicians. About the role

We are seeking a dynamic physician to join our rapidly expanding team. As a physician on Counsel’s medical team and internal clinical leader, you will work with our CEO and lead Medical Director to play a crucial role in revolutionizing care delivery through the latest advancements in AI. You will split your time between providing clinical care on our platform, collaborating with our product team, and leading our business-defining outcomes research. Your contributions will significantly shape the future of Counsel as we tackle healthcare’s biggest challenges.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Providing Exceptional Care and Medical Advice: Utilize our AI-enabled asynchronous platform to deliver outstanding medical care and advice, ensuring patient satisfaction and driving better outcomes.

• Collaborative Research and Publication: Partner with our customers to design, conduct, and publish rigorous outcomes research and white papers.

• Innovative Development: Work alongside our top-tier engineers and designers to create innovative provider-facing technology.

Requirements

• Board certification or board eligibility in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, with an active medical license (multi-state preferred)

• Expertise in clinical evidence and literature review, with a track record of published peer-reviewed research

• Bonus if you:

  • Are fluent in Spanish

  • Have experience delivering virtual or asynchronous care
