We are looking for: Automotive DevOps Engineer
Key Requirements
- Manage and maintain version control systems (Git, Gerrit, Perforce)
- Develop, maintain, and monitor Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines and tools
- Oversee and resolve issues in CI/CD infrastructure promptly
- Coordinate software release process to ensure timely and efficient delivery
- Handle release management, deployment pipelines, and configuration baselines
- Implement automation and containerization using Docker
- Collaborate closely with technical teams and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve ongoing technical issues
- Provide regular updates on release status, issues, and resolutions
- Work with external IT teams to ensure we get the right services for our operation
- Writing documentation (guides, presentation) for future reference and training
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, operations, or infrastructure-related roles
- Strong proficiency in Linux operating systems, with extensive hands-on experience in system administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or automation language (e.g., Shell, Python), with the ability to design and implement automation scripts
- Experience with CI/CD toolchains, such as Jenkins, GitLab, Gerrit, or equivalent tools; hands-on service operation experience is highly preferred
- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving abilities
- Capable of diagnosing issues and resolving incidents efficiently, including handling high-pressure and emergency situations
- Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of teamwork
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including development, IT, and project management
- Strong awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies
- Demonstrated willingness to continuously learn, adapt, and evaluate new tools, platforms, and methodologies
