Forta is clearing the path to quality healthcare by delivering the best possible outcomes with the utmost convenience. 1 in 36 children [CDC, 2023] is diagnosed to be on the autism spectrum. Currently, autism support via Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is difficult to access and the delivery model must be expanded to provide earlier access to families.
Forta is not only providing ABA services to our clients, but we’re also improving the future of the ABA experience for families by creating software and predictive algorithms that elevate clinicians to work smarter by surfacing the latest and most relevant case data. We are working diligently to continuously improve the patient journey and deliver personalized care by applying smart technology and investing in the growth of our world-class team.
Outcomes:
- Gather accurate information - determine the eligibility and benefits from a client’s insurance carrier
- Determine billable status and estimated patient responsibility associated with ABA services
- Reliable reporting - correct, factual information without errors will be put into a template
- Understandable data - if nuanced explanation is needed, they are clearly explained in a way the team and family can understand
- Quick turnaround (24hrs or less) from receiving a request delivering the completed report
- Send and process Benefits Acknowledgements once benefits have been gathered - follow-up with parents on unsigned
- Benefits Acknowledgements as neededAssist with projects and admin tasks, as needed
Competencies:
- Understanding of insurance billing systems with the ability to quickly learn the lexicon of Forta’s industry
- Experience in medical billing
- Excellent in navigating complex details
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English with the ability to clearly enunciate information to navigate automated phone system menus
- Able to ask questions in clear ways to gather concrete answers
- Has fortitude to wait on hold for extended periods of time and be transferred via multiple voice-activated searches and still be professional when call is answered
- Quickly gather notes from calls
- Understanding and respect for patient privacy and security (HIPAA protocols)
- Maintain documentation integrity and quality data hygiene
- Knowledge and experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems
- Maintain an entrepreneurial and growth mindset
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Human Services, Social Work, Public Health
- Reliable personal computer or laptop with minimum specifications5 - 10 Gen with at least 8GB DDR4 RAM or equivalent
- Reliable internet connection with minimum 50 mbps subscription speed and back-up ISP
- Availability to work an 8 hour shift between 9 AM to 5 PM EST, CST, or PST
