Currently, autism support via Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is difficult to access and the delivery model must be expanded to provide earlier access to families.
Forta is not only providing ABA services to our clients, but we’re also improving the future of the ABA experience for families by creating software and predictive algorithms that elevate clinicians to work smarter by surfacing the latest and most relevant case data. Forta is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans for clients diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Department: Clinical / ABA
Position Type: part time

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans as outlined by the BCBA to address the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide one-on-one direct therapy sessions with clients in home
  • Collect accurate data on client progress and behavior using specified data collection methods.
  • Assist in the development of skill acquisition programs to target communication, social, academic, and daily living skills.
  • Maintain professionalism and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA).

WHAT YOU BRING (REQUIREMENTS):

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred, but not required
  • Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary clearances as required by state regulations.
