Currently, autism support via Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is difficult to access and the delivery model must be expanded to provide earlier access to families.

Job Description: As a Behavior Technician at Forta, you will play a critical role in supporting children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans and contribute to meaningful progress in your clients' lives.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans as outlined by the BCBA.
- Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients in their homes.
- Collect and record accurate data on client progress and behavior.
- Assist in the development of skill acquisition programs targeting communication, social, academic, and daily living skills.
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills in ABA.
Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred.
- No prior experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is necessary.
- Passion for working with children and an enthusiasm for learning how to best serve neurodiverse families.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary clearances as required by state regulations.
