Community Referral & Physician Liaison North Carolina | Headstart Health

About Headstart Health

Headstart Health empowers BCBAs to build and run their own independent ABA practices. We believe autism care works best when clinicians are empowered to lead, innovate, and build meaningful relationships within their communities.

Traditional healthcare systems often leave families overwhelmed and clinicians burned out. We’re building something different: locally rooted, relationship-driven ABA companies supported by strong operational infrastructure, ethical leadership, and real community connection.

Headstart provides independent providers with the operational backbone to launch and grow sustainable ABA companies, including credentialing, intake, billing, recruiting, marketing support, and ongoing mentorship—so providers can focus on delivering exceptional care.

We currently operate across North Carolina, Georgia, Indiana, Texas, and Arizona, with continued national expansion ahead.

The Role

We are looking for a highly relational, self-directed, and results-oriented Community Referral & Physician Liaison to lead grassroots referral development efforts across North Carolina.

This is not a sit-behind-the-desk marketing role.

This is a true field-based relationship-building role for someone who knows how to walk into offices, create trust, build long-term partnerships, and generate referrals through authentic community presence.

You will serve as the face of Headstart Health within the local healthcare and autism ecosystem. Your responsibility is to create meaningful referral relationships that drive client growth for our providers.

You will spend your time:

  • Building trust and long-term referral relationships
  • Educating referral partners about Headstart Health and our providers
  • Identifying opportunities in local markets and taking initiative to pursue them
  • Creating and maintaining a strong referral pipeline
  • Driving real, measurable lead generation

This role requires someone who is highly independent, proactive, organized, and energized by people. We are not looking for someone who waits for instructions or needs constant oversight.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership.
