As an Account Executive on our Sales team, you’ll identify, develop, and close new business with fleet accounts. In this highly visible role, you’ll collaborate across product, marketing, engineering, customer success, and with prospects to understand their needs and deliver solutions that close deals.
WHO YOU ARE
The ideal candidate loves outreach and prospecting, gaining a deep understanding of the customer and their needs, actively listening and discovering meaningful pain points, and demonstrating our product to show value in solving those pains. While you will have support from Sales Development Representatives and Marketing, you should be able to build a strong pipeline and execute the Idelic Sales Playbook from initial contacts to closed wins. You excel at creating mutual action plans and holding prospects accountable to those plans, navigating the buying process, accurately forecasting pipeline, and executing against quota. You wake up every morning excited to be resourceful, curious, persistent, empathetic, and organized, which will all be key to your success. You don’t need to directly manage people to get work done, because you know how to influence and guide others to prioritize what you need. This role focuses on the mid-sized to large fleets, which is critical to the success of Idelic. You must excel at self-discipline, as this is a remote/work-from-home opportunity that may also require up to 25% travel. If this sounds like you, read on!
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Cultivate, develop, and grow opportunity pipeline through outbound activities
- Execute on a consistent and detailed playbook to close new customers on the Idelic Safety Suite Platform
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Drive high sales activity and strategy through the use of funnel metrics and KPI’s
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates
- Sell Idelic's benefits to prospects through discovery calls and product demos,
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network, generate leads, and promote company products or services.
- Foster a strong relationship and strategic plan with the SDR team
- Collaborate with customer success, engineering, and support teams to ensure customers are satisfied and successful
- Stay updated on industry developments, market conditions, and competitive landscape to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Work on any task and help solve problems as needed
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE
- 2+ years of on-quota, B2B SaaS sales experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- A history of selling to medium to large organizations
- Skilled at selling value propositions to each level of senior management and/or C-level executives
- History of consistent quota over-achievement in highly competitive markets
- Experience in lead generation or as a sales development representative
- Experience utilizing Hubspot
- Ability to think strategically and work in a rapidly expanding, fast-paced and changing environment
- Teamwork and excellent communication skills
- Willingness to travel and provide on-site product demos and meet with prospects
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
