OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

The Safety Suite team at Idelic is passionate about developing the end-to-end SaaS platform that our customers depend on for managing their drivers. This team collaborates with product management, customer success, and leadership to innovatively deliver new products, iterate on existing features, and tackle tech debt for customers. Those interested in this role require commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and high-quality work.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Deliver valuable features and enhancements to our customers DAILY
• Develop quality code that is scalable, readable, and flexible enough to adapt to changing requirements
• Collaborate with product management to understand the customer experience and turn user stories into delivered features
• Ideate and drive user experience in conjunction with product management to make features intuitive, enjoyable and accessible
• Partner with other engineers, QA, and DevOps in a team-first environment to build and maintain customer-facing applications with a high degree of ownership
• Support and develop our technical culture by being engaged, intellectually curious, friendly, and motivated to solve complex problems
• Work on any task and help solve problems when needed

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• 3-5 years of full stack development experience
• Proven expertise in frontend technologies such as JavaScript, React and TypeScript
• Experience working with restful APIs
• Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end test code
• Experience providing peer code reviews
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment

WHAT WILL SET YOU APART

• Experience with Agile/Scrum and CI/CD
• Familiarity with backend technologies such as Java, Scala and Python
• Familiarity with SQL and relational database concepts
• Experience with containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and the AWS ecosystem
• Experience working with UI mockups
