The Role
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our HQ environment and adjacent corporate apartments. You will play a crucial role in providing basic maintenance services, maintaining the employee kitchen, stocking snacks and beverages, handling package deliveries, and supporting a variety of other office optimization projects. This is a full-time, on-site position in Torrance, CA.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine office maintenance including regularly inspecting and restocking the office snack and kitchen areas
- Coordinate with vendors for kitchen supplies and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with other departments to address facility-related requests
- Assist with setup and breakdown of events and meetings
- Conduct regular inspections to proactively identify and address any facility-related issues
- Routinely inspect and prepare our corporate apartments ahead of employee check-ins
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance and coordination
- Basic computer skills for work order management and reporting
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks such as bending or twisting, grasping, standing, lifting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying
- Must be able to lift and carry parts or equipment up to 25 lbs. unassisted
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed
Nice to Have
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment
- Exceptional communication skills and a customer-service-oriented approach
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
- Experience handling a variety of task
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly pay range for this non-exempt role is $25 - $30 + equity in the company
- Compensation will be based on several factors including, but not limited to: knowledge and skills, education, and experience level
