We're looking for a talented Pool Repair Technician to join our team in South Bay LA. If you have deep prior experience in poor repairs and know how to replace pumps, filters, heaters, and more, and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you.

What we're looking for:

We are seeking a Pool Repair Technician with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in pool equipment repair. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of pool pumps, filtration systems, heaters, and automation controls, and can diagnose issues and fix them efficiently. You will be the go-to expert for equipment repairs—ensuring each pool runs smoothly and safely. This is a field position in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, so you should be comfortable working independently at various job sites while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose & Repair: Identify issues and repair pool pumps, motors, filters, heaters, automation systems, and other pool equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform preventative maintenance to avoid breakdowns and extend the life of pool systems
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by clearly explaining needed repairs, maintenance plans, and equipment operation to pool owners
  • Record-Keeping & Safety: Maintain accurate service records for all work performed and follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow Cabana technicians, sharing expertise and supporting others on the team. Occasionally assist with general pool service tasks or cover colleagues' routes as needed


Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in repairing pool equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, etc.)
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of pool pumps, filtration systems, heaters, and automation controls
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with keen attention to detail to diagnose issues accurately and find effective solutions
  • Communication: Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact positively with clients and explain technical information clearly
  • Driving & Location: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be able to work in the South Bay area of Los Angeles
