Responsibilities:
Designing and implementing perception for a unique robotic/automation process, with a focus on rapid development and robust solutions
Implementing, testing and documenting complex automation processes.
Collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and process engineers, as well as external customers
Requirements
Experience in implementing robust perception solutions in high speed real-world applications.
Experience with computer vision, including system design, software development, and integration.
Desired Skills & Experience (the more, the better, but not expected to have all)
Experience with implementing non-vision-based sensing and feedback control systems
Experience with motion control for a variety of actuator types (e.g. brushed and brushless DC motors, stepper and AC servo motors, pneumatics)
Exposure to industry standard communication protocols (e.g. CANOpen, Ethercat)
Experience with complex embedded systems
